Tomorrow is the first Chicken Committee Meeting- Monday, October 31st at 12 12:10pm in Room 2. We are so excited to start planning how to get chickens on campus and we need lots of help building the coop that was delivered.
Tuesday, November 1- Professional Development Day- No School for Students but the office will be open and we will have the final class of Bow Building and Archery Class from 12:15-1:15.
Thursday, November 3- 12:15 Arete Off Campus Family Meet Up Planning Crew at the stage. All welcome to this brainstorming session.
This month for 20 Day Meetings, we will be offering Build Your Own Trail (lots of healthy choices offered) in the front office November 15, 16, and 17th. EA’s will give you a ticket if your family turns in ALL attendance and PE logs and work samples on time.

We recently sent out the exciting news about our new library program Alexandria where families will now be able to search our library of books! Each student was sent a barcode ID and Username for accessing the library catalog. In this new program you will be able to see a list of items you have checked out and their due dates, holds and reservations you have placed and their expiration dates, and any charges you owe the library. Remember to email Sarah at [email protected] a few days before a kiddos’ birthday if you want to send in treats so I can check for food allergies. Nuts are never allowed, but some individual classes have food allergies that I also monitor closely. Thanks for keeping our students safe. We also strongly encourage healthier treats if possible as some families closely monitor their kiddos’ sugar and food dye intake.
Please remember that we are a NUT FREE school as we have several students with severe nut allergies. Kiddos may enjoy nut free granola bars and spreads on their sandwiches and all the nut free favorites when away from Arete. Thanks!

*October 31- Trick or Treating- 11:20- Set Up. 11:30-11:55 for Trick or Treating on the playground. All Hybrid 4-8th graders will already be on campus and are welcome to dress up. All other families should use the Sign Up Genius to RSVP.
