Resource Center Starts Tomorrow!

Please drop off kiddos between 8:55-9am and doors will be opened at 9am. If you signed up for breakfast and lunch, they will be served promptly from 8:55-9:00am and 11:55-12:00pm. Pick up promptly at 12:00-12:05. Please either pull all the way up in the pick up line and we will load the kiddos into your car OR park in the parking lot and walk over to get your child and walk them back across the driveway. Watch the pick up video here...https://arete.prsd.us/apps/video/

Students should bring a healthy snack and water bottle everyday. Other helpful items for their cubbies (please label with student's name in black permanent marker) are scissors, a glue stick and markers, colored pencils, or crayons. See you soon!

Please remember that we are a NUT FREE school as we have several students with severe nut allergies. Kiddos may enjoy nut free granola bars and spreads on their sandwiches and all the nut free favorites when away from Arete. Thanks!

Dear Prospective Middle School Band Parents,

My name is Joshua Horton; I want to thank you for giving me this opportunity to introduce myself as PRSD’s newest music teacher. I am writing to invite your child(ren) to join the Concert Band. Having started the school year just a week ago, we are prepared to welcome additional students to join our ensemble. Whether your student has played before or not, we would love to have them play with the group during 1st period daily.

We have many ‘new-to-band’ students currently, and band is one of those activities where “the more the merrier” truly applies. We would happily accept new students on flute, clarinet, trumpet, or trombone. For additional information or the possibility of exceptions, please reach out to me directly at [email protected]

I wish you the best in this fall season and hope to meet many of you soon.

Sincerely,

Joshua Horton

Note from Sarah- 1st period runs from 9:43-10:29 on Mondays, 9:05-9:59 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays and 9:05-9:39 on minimum days.  Students need to attend every day of the week and must be fully vaccinated or have a valid medical waiver from after 2016 from a medical doctor who has not been disciplined. $350 out of Students Funds will be charged for each trimester. Please email Sarah with questions at [email protected].

Dear Prospective Choir Parents,

My name is Joshua Horton; I want to thank you for giving me this opportunity to introduce myself as Magnolia’s newest music teacher. I am writing to invite your child(ren) to join Bella Voce Choir, which is currently an all-girls chorus with a proud history inside the Pleasant Ridge Union School District. Having started the academic year just a week ago, we are prepared to welcome additional 6th- 8th grade students to join our ensemble. Whether your student has sung before or not, we would love to have them join voices with us during 2nd period daily.

We have many ‘new-to-choir’ students currently, and singing is one of those activities where “the more the merrier” truly applies. For additional information, please reach out to me directly at [email protected]

I wish you the best in this fall season and hope to meet many of you soon.

Sincerely,

Joshua Horton
