Dear Prospective Middle School Band Parents,

My name is Joshua Horton; I want to thank you for giving me this opportunity to introduce myself as PRSD’s newest music teacher. I am writing to invite your child(ren) to join the Concert Band. Having started the school year just a week ago, we are prepared to welcome additional students to join our ensemble. Whether your student has played before or not, we would love to have them play with the group during 1st period daily. 

We have many ‘new-to-band’ students currently, and band is one of those activities where “the more the merrier” truly applies. We would happily accept new students on flute, clarinet, trumpet, or trombone. For additional information or the possibility of exceptions, please reach out to me directly at [email protected].

Note from Sarah- 1st period runs from 9:43-10:29 on Mondays, 9:05-9:59 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays and 9:05-9:39 on minimum days.  Students need to attend every day of the week and must be fully vaccinated or have a valid medical waiver from after 2016 from a medical doctor who has not been disciplined. $350 out of Students Funds will be charged for each trimester. I am writing to invite your child(ren) to join Bella Voce Choir, which is currently an all-girls chorus with a proud history inside the Pleasant Ridge Union School District. Having started the academic year just a week ago, we are prepared to welcome additional 6th- 8th grade students to join our ensemble. Whether your student has sung before or not, we would love to have them join voices with us during 2nd period daily.
