We are so excited to be hosting our first family event. On Wednesday, December 6th at 6pm you are invited to our Arete Family Christmas Party. We have hired an art specialist to help your family create a beautiful piece of pottery all together. All family members are invited to assist in the creation of a family bowl. Students will glaze the bowls during the following weeks. We will have Christmas music playing and ask each family to bring a treat to share. This will be a great time to meet other Arete families and enjoy the holiday spirit. Please RSVP by 12/4/2017. We are so excited to share this exciting night with you.
On our field trip to the Nevada County Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum, Arete students and families greatly enjoyed the tour of the museum, rail yard, and the garage where they re-build the trains. Most importantly, we were moved by the cooperation and teamwork shown by the many volunteers. We loved our own trip on Railbus #97 through the beautiful grounds of the Northern Queen Inn and Outside Inn Campground.
Arete students will have a fun family day at Bierwagens with a picnic lunch, tour of the farm including apple trees, pumpkin patch, and farm animals. Kiddos will also get to taste fresh apple cider, and play on the hay pyramid and in the "corny" box!
