Arete Charter Academy Promotion 2020

So, so proud of our amazing students. They have persevered during really, really tough times and made it through. It is time to celebrate them! Congrats to the Arete Class of 2020.

You will always be the loveliest part of Arete- “Parts of a Whole”
You will do great things! As one of my favorite authors, Dr. Seuss once said,
“Congratulations!
Today is your day
You're off to great places
You're off and away
Your mountain is waiting
Go, get on your way!”

Tuesday 4-8th Writing Workshop Did you miss the last Writing Workshop focused on Informational Writing? Do you need more practice with this genre?

We are offering another opportunity for students to work on Informative Writing. In doing so we will work on note taking and completing the writing process from drafting through to final copy. New to this session will be the practice of writing the Perfect Answer to informational articles. A necessary skill, as short essay answers are used in all school subjects. Students will also have an opportunity to develop their typing skills utilizing an online program. Finally, students will be given additional resource time to complete individual assignments. 4/5 Sign Up- https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050949ACAE2EA0F94-4th5th3

Mrs. Codiga will run this workshop on Tuesdays for five weeks. It is important for your student to attend each session for the duration of this class 2/11 - 3/10. The work we do one day will roll over to subsequent days. Click link for more information.
