📚 Piano Sign Up

We are so excited that Joshua Horton will be continuing with us at Arete next semester for music instruction. 2nd-8th grade hybrid and blended kiddos will attend music class during their Resource Center days in general music or percussion classes. Piano Lab will also be available for students. Please sign up below. Lessons begin September 8. Students must have state required vaccinations for group lessons. This is on a first come first serve basis (then we will start a waiting list) and if students are not attending regularly, we will move another student from the waiting list into that spot.  Preference is given to students who can attend for two or more days. Thank you! K- 12 Arete Piano Lab - Semester Two Registration 26/27

Proof of Residency Requirements- Please bring to your Enrollment Meeting

To finalize enrollment and begin curriculum purchasing, all NEW families must provide two proofs of residency: one document from Category I and one document from Category II.  Returning families need only submit one proof of residency from Category II.

Category I: Primary Residency

Submit one of the following documents showing the name and address of the parent, guardian, or caregiver:

  • Home Ownership Documents: Copy of deed, most recent mortgage statement, or property tax bill/receipt (dated within the past year).
  • Rental Documents: Fully executed lease/rental agreement (must include address, plus lessor and lessee signatures).
  • Official Correspondence: Pay stub, voter registration, or correspondence from a government agency.
  • Affidavits: A signed Declaration of Residency executed by the parent or legal guardian.

Category II: Utility Verification

Submit one utility statement or receipt dated within the last 45 days. Online documents are accepted if they include all pages of the statement:

  • Acceptable Services:
    • PG&E
    • Nevada Irrigation District (NID)
    • Waste Management
    • Residential Cable / Internet / Satellite
    • Landline Telephone (Cell phone or long-distance bills are not accepted).

Note: Utility set-up letters or 15-day notice letters are accepted temporarily, provided a standard statement or receipt is submitted within 30 days.

Special Circumstances

  • Unaccompanied Youth: If the student is an unaccompanied youth (as defined in 42 USC 11434A), a Declaration of Residency executed by the student is required.
  • Caregiving Adults: If the student resides with a caregiving adult within district boundaries, an affidavit executed by that adult (per Family Code 6552) is required.

Important: Student files are not considered complete until both proofs are verified. Curriculum cannot be ordered until this step is finished.
