Nevada County Ag in the Classroom Annual Farm Day at the Fairground- Wednesday, September 17, 2025- 1st-5th Grades 9-12:30 Meet Mrs. Codiga at 8:50  at Gate 5. 11228 McCourtney Rd, Grass Valley, CA 95949

Farm Day is a collaboration of ranchers, farmers, agriculture teachers and students, businesses, food networks, and community volunteers working together to provide a quality agriculture-related experience. The goal of Farm Day is to assist you in teaching your students about the different facets of agriculture in a hands-on and fun way. Exposing your students to all the different aspects of agriculture expands their comprehension of the world that surrounds them in an era when children are increasingly disconnected from how food is grown/raised, processed and packaged, and gets to their plates. Bring snacks, a sack lunch and water bottle.
