The Bernhard Museum Complex is an 1890s restored Victorian farmhouse. The main museum tour will consist of lead participants through the house museum, upstairs and downstairs, to teach them what life was like in the 19th century on a family farm. Our interpretation focuses on the Bernhard family, who owned the home for nearly 100 years, and the role of children on the farm. We will also take a short tour of the grounds and the historic wagons in the carriage barn. This tour is best for students over the age of 6, but all ages are welcome. We’ll end in the historic winery building with a short activity.
