Parent Preview Night will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 6PM in the Don Baggett Theatre. This event is for all parents / guardians of incoming Freshmen students. Following the opening event, parents and students are welcome to browse many booths in our Multipurpose Room. There will be a variety of booths, including clubs, athletics, academics and many, many more!

Nevada Union High School Presents Future Miner Invitational on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 11:30am - 2:30pm. This event is open to 8th graders and is coordinated between NU and your school. While the event is open to all 8th graders with prospects to attend NU, any students attending independently, will need to communicate with Nevada Union.

The goal for this day is to welcome your students in preparation for their next big step in education. We plan to share, inform and promote program offerings at Nevada Union High School. Our program will highlight incoming Freshman-eligible course offerings in extracurricular activities and electives, as well as athletics and club offerings. We are excited for our line-up this year! We believe that our itinerary will allow your 8th graders to gain a sense of the culture at Nevada Union, explore our facilities, mingle with other incoming 8th graders from our local schools in Nevada County and be able to share their enthusiasm with their parents.

We hope that having both events close to each other will engage families in discussions regarding high school options and all that NU offers. The enrollment period is in this same time frame as well.
