2025-2026 Update

We are so excited that Arete Charter Academy will be part of your family’s educational journey for the 2025-2026 school year. We are thrilled to be planning for next year and all of the new adventures we will be having including continuing with our music teacher, new field trips, enrichment instructors, and classes. We will be continuing three hour morning academic enrichment classes as they were such a hit this year.  We are gathering lots of information about what you would like your child's school year to look like this year including the Resource Center, the Parent Action Committee, off campus activities, and special events throughout the year.

There are many important links in this email. Please read carefully through this and review and complete them. Mid July you should get a welcome email from your Educational Advisor with a Sign Up Genius request to schedule your Enrollment Meeting in late July or early August. We cannot purchase curriculum until all budgets are signed, proof of residence has been verified and budgets have been completed. Then we purchase curriculum in order of completed students files.

Thanks for taking the time to share your plans and dreams with us! Arete Planning for the 2025-2026 School Year (This is the official Resource Center Sign Up).

Academic Enrichment Class- K-6th Grades for 2025-2026

This program would utilize student's curriculum and enrichment funds to add a day of on campus instructional time for families who are desiring more higher level academic instruction from credentialed teachers with more advanced projects and more time with other students. Families would need to commit for one semester for a total of $215 out of Curriculum/Enrichment Funds for Tuesdays and $225 for Wednesdays. (Yes, that breaks down to $5 an hour for high quality instruction). We have a nine student minimum. Classes would be broken up into two multi-age groups of 2nd and 3rd grade (Wednesday Class) and 4th, 5th and 6th grade (Tuesday Class). Students at the lower grade level (2nd and 4th grades) should be reading and writing at grade level to be able to have success at the multiage learning model. Students who are gaining reading skills are invited to our K-2nd grade Literacy Launch class on Wednesdays.  K-2nd Grades (Kinder students should know all letter names and the majority of sounds and demonstrate an interest in reading basic words and should be comfortable with writing/formation of all letters.) State vaccination regulations apply. Work samples will be sent home. Please complete the form if you are officially signing up here
