We are so excited to offer a new round of field trips. Please watch dates closely and make note of the field trips that require prepayment for adult chaperones.

Fall Enrichment Sign Ups are Here

We are so excited to announce the release of an unprecedented amount of amazing enrichment classes being offered this Fall. Reminder that these are the only items that DO Not need to be added to an Arete budget form as we can track them on the Sign Up. Please, do not schedule a series class and the individual classes for the same day. If you do, we will cancel the individual classes as you cannot be double booked.

Arete Family Orientation August 16

August 16 is the first day of instruction for the 2022-2023 school year and Arete is so excited to offer a Family Orientation with a variety of educational and fun options on that day. Read carefully through the descriptions and sign up for the ones that best fit your families’ needs. Children are invited and we will have staff to supervise school aged children in a classroom or on the playground when they are not needed in a training. Children under four should be kept with you.

PowerSchool Offline

PowerSchool is undergoing maintenance and will be offline until the evening of Thursday, July 28th. This does impact access to the digital enrollment forms. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Fun Field Days & 5th Grade Picnic

Our last days of the Arete Resource Center with lessons will be Wednesday, May 25 and Thursday, May 26 Tuesday, May 31 and Wednesday, June 1. The last day of school for the Blended Middle School will be Thursday, June 2. (Students will work at home until June 10). On May 31 (TK-3) and June 1 (4-8th) we will be having Fun Field Days. We will also be having a 5th grade picnic on June 1 from 12-12:45 (5th grade families are invited to bring their own picnic lunch and an ice cream topping to share then we will have an ice cream sundae bar). Students are invited to wear summer clothes and sandals and bring a towel. (There is water involved on this fun day)! 

ALL students are invited to these fun events whether they attend the Resource Center or not. If your child does not normally attend Resource and wants to come that day, please let me know! We are hoping lots of families will sign up to run a station to make this event at Arete a blast!

2022 Arete Read-a-Thon and Scholastic Book Fair-Upcoming Library Events with Miss Laura the Librarian!

Join us now for our Read-A-Thon and mark your calendars for our very first Scholastic Book Fair March 4th-11th!
The Arete Read-A-Thon will take place February 1st-24th and is open to every student and their families. Students will keep track of the minutes they spend each day reading books. You are welcome to use any genre of book that you can find in your home, your county library, or our very own Arete library. Participate as a family to help them achieve their prize goals. Are they not at an independent reading level yet? No worries! Reading to them counts as well! Turn in your reading log each week to collect cool prizes including a pizza lunch served to you by Ms. Sarah Schwartz!
