This will be the last Sign Up for Enrichments for the 2021-2022 School Year. All classes start after the start of Trimester Three so students will have received their final allotment of funds. We are so excited that our amazing French Teacher, Ms. Josee, returns this Spring to teach a combined class for new and returning students. This will be the only series of classes with multiple sessions this time, so students will NOT be able to sign up for additional classes that overlap.
Testing starts on Tuesday. If they have an Arete chromebook, please charge and bring it. If they need to check one out, please come in early to check one out of the office. Please send a snack and water bottle with your child.
Join us now for our Read-A-Thon and mark your calendars for our very first Scholastic Book Fair March 4th-11th! The Arete Read-A-Thon will take place February 1st-24th and is open to every student and their families. Students will keep track of the minutes they spend each day reading books. You are welcome to use any genre of book that you can find in your home, your county library, or our very own Arete library. Participate as a family to help them achieve their prize goals. Are they not at an independent reading level yet? No worries! Reading to them counts as well! Turn in your reading log each week to collect cool prizes including a pizza lunch served to you by Ms. Sarah Schwartz!
Details are available in our “Reading to Get the Goal” flier with attached reading log.
If you have a current teaching credential or sub permit (or are interested in obtaining an Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit), please click the heading to visit our Substitute Teaching page for instructions. Thank you!
Hello families!! I have heard you loud and clearly about the Sign Up being confusing for Enrichment Classes. We are reducing the amount of overlapping classes so students are not double booked and trying a new Sign Up look that should make it easier to see if a class is a single day or a series of multiple days. We are also trying out having age groups on different days, so please check your calendar to see if your kiddo is REALLY available on the days you select. If classes fill up, we will add more sessions of the same classes. Please email [email protected] with waiting list requests.
