Make & Take Home a Dinner Dish + Chef's Special
Students will create healthy & delicious dishes based on recipes from Asia, Europe, Africa & Latin America. Many of the ingredients come from Chef Susan’s culinary gardens. Topics of discussion: Nutrition, growing your own food, healthy cooking, connecting with other cultures & foreign languages. Organic & GMOfree ingredients used whenever possible. In each 75 minute class, we will make:
Dinner dish with 4 servings
Jr. Chef’s Special (students create a dish using the “secret ingredient” of the day!)
Age: All ages. Minimum 5 students. Max 18.
Cost: $45
Time: Wednesdays & Thursdays from 1:15 to 2:30

Oct 1: England: Chicken Pot Pie + Mashed Potato Crust
Oct 2: Italian Stuffed Meatball Soup + Fresh Cheesy, Herb & Garlic Bread
Oct 15: French Country Meatloaf + Plum BBQ Sauce
Oct 16: French Roasted Chicken with Kumquats & Apricot Glaze
Nov 5: Thai Noodles + Sesame Ginger Sauce + Meat & Veggie Toppings
Nov 6: Japanese Takeout: Teriyaki Chicken Skewer & Rainbow Bowls
Nov 12: Thanksgiving Prep: Make 2 pies: Farm Fresh Apple & Pumpkin
Nov 13: Thanksgiving Prep: Herb Mashed Potatoes with Miso Gravy + Fresh Cranberry Sauce
Dec 3: Italian Holiday Lasagna + Fresh Bread & Bruschetta
