Dear Parents/Guardians, The Nevada County Public Health Oral Health Program will be 
providing dental screenings for Kindergarteners on Thursday, April 11th from 9-12. This screening will help to ensure
that your child has the required Kindergarten Oral Health Assessment (KOHA). The screening does not
replace routine checkups with your family dentist but can identify dental issues that may need treatment. Your
child will receive:
A free Oral Health Assessment A free dental kit
Dental education on how to take care of teeth Screening results
