The SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity is the perfect place to spend time with your friends and family. MOSAC is filled with interactive exhibits, live demonstrations and events for all ages — it’s an ideal community-gathering spot to meet new people. This is a place where you’re allowed to question everything and find solutions to challenges in many ways. By igniting imagination, creativity and curiosity, we provide the building blocks for you to put on your thinking caps, solve problems and learn new skills!

For the first part of the field trip, the teacher, students and parents will tour the museum as a group. From 11-12, there will be a hands-on learning lab based on Engineering and Green Energy. Afterwards the group can meet for a picnic lunch on the patio. Four parents may join for the museum tour (prepay $15 two weeks before the field trip) and five of those may join the lab (Prepay $20 two weeks before the field trip). Arete siblings must meet the age range criteria. No other siblings are allowed. There will be an Arete teacher there to supervise students whose parents do not sign up. You may drop off your kiddo in front of the museum between 9:20-9:30 and pcik them up after lunch at 12:30.
